About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Book Treehouse is a supplier of children's books and gifts. Because we know that kids are the future, and they need to be able to learn as much as they can. We believe that books are one of the greatest gifts you can give a child. They teach them to read, they show them how to dream, and they inspire them to be who they want to be. It is the gift that lasts a lifetime!

Our Story
Our beginnings
In 2011, Sariah started in the book industry as a Barefoot Books Ambassador, where she marketed and promoted award-winning and beautifully illustrated children's books throughout New Zealand. A year later, in 2012, Jean became a Barefoot Books Ambassador and brought the company's products into Montessori Schools and early childhood centres.

Our present & future
Over the years, Sariah and Jean have been approached by various bookshops and retailers who expressed interest in stocking Barefoot Books products due to customer demand. In 2022, they established Book Treehouse with the aim of supplying Barefoot Books products to bookshops, retailers, and the wholesale industry. Additionally, they are diversifying their product range to feature children's books authored by independent New Zealand writers and handcrafted educational felt playsets.
